The Wine & Tourism Chair research seminar on Friday March 22, 2024, brought together a number of academics and experts to share best practices in wine tourism and gastronomy in Italy, Portugal, Germany, and France.

 

  • The DIGITAL and GREEN TRANSITION in Italy's agri-food SMEs
    • How can we make companies and the ecosystem more aware of the digital and green transition and its implications/potential for the food industry?

    • How can we strengthen alignment between the various players (regulatory frameworks, funding sources, policy initiatives, and promotion)?

📣 Vladi Finotto, associate professor at Ca'Foscari University (Italy), unveils the results of a survey conducted by the Agrifood Management and Innovation Laboratory among 560 Italian agrifood SMEs on their digital and green transition and the links they maintain with their ecosystem.

📣 Ana Brochado, associate professor at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (Portugal), shares a study of 43 customers of luxury restaurants in Portugal, entitled "What's on the menu? How celebrity chef brands create happiness?".

Customers attach great importance to the image of chefs and the congruence between chefs and the image of their restaurants.
