Overview

In a competitive, globalized environment, management control is becoming increasingly important. As "business partners", management controllers help managers to achieve their company's objectives, such as sustainability and profitability, by laying the groundwork for often complex decision-making and coordinating the efforts of their staff in the decision-making process. This specialization offers courses in designing and mastering management control systems, implementing audit procedures, and developing essential soft skills. A third of the program is taught in English.

Objectives of the Specialization

  • Develop a strategic vision for companies in response to the challenges of a globalized and competitive environment.
  • Develop and master management control systems (cost calculations, dashboards, budgets, etc.) adapted to companies' planning, management, and control needs.
  • Analyze auditing rules and standards and establish auditing procedures for companies.
  • Design and use information systems (ERP, business intelligence, etc.) to meet management control and audit needs.
  • Implement practices to improve the environmental and social performance of companies.
  • Establish a corporate culture that facilitates effective management control and organizational auditing through collaborative leadership, a critical approach to decision-making, and good communication skills at all levels.
