Mathilde Jost, who defended her dissertation "Managing exogenous factors to foster individual creativity in French gastronomy" on November 16, 2023, under the supervision of professors Amélie Boutinot and Sébastien Point, was awarded the 2024 Augustin Cournot PhD Prize during Augustin Cournot Doctoral School's Back-to-School Day on November 7, 2024.
We gathered a short testimonial from her:
I’m particularly honored to have been awarded the 2024 Augustin Cournot PhD Prize, which brings to a close this three-year doctoral experience at the HuManiS research center and the Augustin Cournot Doctoral School. This distinction rewards not only my investment in a fascinating subject—the creativity of chefs in French gastronomy—but also all the support I’ve received over these three years from the research center and the academic community as a whole. I've come away from this experience with a wealth of new know-how and, above all, interpersonal skills that will boost my future professional prospects.
We congratulate her warmly on this fine achievement!
