LaRGE organized the Workshop on Banking and Society with Fordham University (New York) and the Bank of Finland on October 9 and 10, 2023, in Strasbourg.
This scientific event was an opportunity to present research work on banking economics linked to current social issues (how bank behavior is impacted by conflicts, environmental issues, deglobalization; how monetary policy can influence inequalities through the granting of credit, etc.).
It brought together 25 participants from central banks (European Central Bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, Banque de France, Banca d'Italia) and universities in various countries (Fordham University, King's College London, Stockholm School of Economics, Kyiv School of Economics, etc.).
