Digitalization, Organization & Territories
Objective: to bring together researchers working on the issue of digitization to develop innovative, multi-disciplinary research.
Overview
EM Strasbourg's research clusters bring together the School's professors, experts in various fields of management science, around transdisciplinary research themes. The aim is to develop innovative, high-impact research projects through high-level scientific collaboration.
The Digitalization, Organization & Territories research cluster actively contributes to the School's expertise in the management of digital transformation in organizations. The aim of this cluster is to develop innovative, multi-disciplinary research into the interactions between digitalization, territorialization, and territorial dynamics. This multi-level approach enables links to be forged between the organizational level and the meso/macro level of the territory or ecosystem. It is thus in line with new trends in micro-foundation.
Project & Organization
By bringing together researchers from a variety of disciplines around this topic, we are convinced we can generate new avenues of research.
This collaboration between researchers should encourage the development of an original, innovative, and global approach to the issue. These synergies and this research dynamic should also produce original contributions and publications in national and international journals.
What's more, our project is highly likely to be of interest to the socio-economic world. More specifically, we want to use this cluster to initiate data collection at the local level (Alsace) in order to enlighten socio-economic players and the local ecosystem on the digitization of the financial sector as an opportunity for organizations and the Alsace region. This data collection, anchored in the region, could eventually lead to the creation of an observatory, or even a corporate chair, on digitalization and increased momentum in the Alsace ecosystem.
The team will be holding regular meetings to strengthen our cohesion and improve our collective efficiency. These meetings will encourage teamwork, enabling each member to share ideas, contribute expertise, and collaborate effectively on common projects.
