Summer School in Strasbourg, France
Every summer, EM Strasbourg Business School organizes its International Summer School program.
Studying in the heart of Europe, students take courses on Business in Europe including European Economic Policies with a focus on sustainability. A number of courses are taught by guest faculty from around the world. The courses are complemented by a variety of corporate visits, previous visits have included: European Parliament, Council of Europe, Mercedes-Benz, Weberhaus.
Our Summer School program is open to undergraduate students. While it is especially beneficial for those in business and international relations fields, individuals from other disciplines are also welcome to participate.

- Level and participants: undergraduate students with a basic knowledge of business and/or economics (at least 1 year of higher education)
- Language requirements: proficiency in English (minimum level of B2 in English according to the Common European Reference Framework of Languages).
- Application period: students need to be nominated by their home university by March 15th 2025
All classes, lectures, and visits will be held in English and no prior knowledge of French is required.

Immerse yourself in French Culture !
Part of our Summer School program is also dedicated to experiencing French culture through activities such as:
✔ Guided tour of the historic city of Strasbourg,
✔ Discover the famous Alsatian wine route with a visit to the picturesque town Ribeauvillé as well as a wine tasting experience at a local winery,
✔ A visit to an 18th century castle Haut-Koenigsburg nestled high in the Vosges mountains,
✔ Learn about the wonderful world of French cheese in our cheese-tasting session.
Program fee
The fee includes:
- Tuition for the 4 week course
- Corporate visits
- Participation in the French cultural program and visits
- Transportation to site visits
- Welcome and Farewell lunch

Grades and Credit Equivalency
The courses in the program amount to the equivalent of 12 ECTS credits (6 US credit hours). Kindly note that students are required to take all classes on the syllabus.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a transcript of grades. EM Strasbourg Business School uses the French grading system, which ranges from 0 to 20, with 20 being the highest grade.
You can consult the grading scale used at EM Strasbourg. Grade conversion into other grade systems is done by students’ home universities. Detailed course descriptions available upon request.
Housing
Students are accommodated in student residence halls near the School. Students are responsible for housing costs and should budget around 350 – 550 euros for accommodation. Further information will be sent to applicants.
